Gorgeous pink fluorite specimen with glittering rose gold muscovite. This octahedral fluorite is a soft blush pink with peach undertones, translucent gemmy clarity and a rich textured surface. It radiates a dreamy pastel glow. The contact point can be seen on the bottom of the fluorite, where it was once attached to the host rock. It’s one of those very attractive fluorite specimens that feels soothing when you look at it. Especially when backlit or with side lighting, it’ll be an eye-catching piece in any display case. Pink fluorite is one of the most rare colors and very collectible. This piece is from our personal collection, we acquired it from an old mineral collection owned by geologist, Lee Hogg.
The Hunza Valley is a famous locality for fine minerals, including exceptional peach-pink fluorite specimens.
