Collection: Trinitite

We are proud to present one of the largest online collections of genuine Trinitite. Each specimen is individually photographed with care and precision, so you can see the exact piece you will receive and select the one that’s right for your collection.

Trinitite is a rare historic green glass formed when desert sand fused under the extreme heat of the world’s first atomic bomb test, known as Trinity. Most surviving specimens were collected in the late 1940s and early 1950s. In 1952, collecting Trinitite was officially prohibited, and the United States Atomic Energy Commission bulldozed and buried the test crater. As a result, existing specimens are finite and historically significant.
