Collector’s Note:
This crystallized fossil wood formed in the Late Triassic, nicknamed ‘Pangea Wood’ for its formation during the breakup of the supercontinent Pangea, when the land was alive with volcanic activity. Eruptions scorched ancient forests, floodwaters carried the logs away, and they were buried deep underground in silica-rich sediment. Over millions of years, quartz and calcite replaced the carbonized wood, creating these sparkling, mineral-rich fossils. Discovered on a private ranch near Holbrook, Northern Arizona—available in very limited quantity.
Metaphysical Properties:
Ancient wood transformed into stone and crowned with smoky quartz druzy, this piece holds a rare harmony of grounding and activation. Its fossil core steadies the energy, while the quartz crystals impart a soft, tingling vibrational lift. Protective and clarifying, it anchors the spirit while subtly awakening the senses.
To show the unique details of this piece, we bring it very close to the camera lens. This can make some items appear larger than their actual size. For best size assessment, please see size measurements.
