Veracruz Amethyst cluster from Piedra Parada, Veracruz, Mexico. This gemmy Veracruz Amethyst specimen has sparkling clear lavender crystals, with sparkling clarity and glassy luster. Double terminated crystals and a central scepter crystal are perched on a small plate of matrix. Veracruz is a world renowned locality for Amethyst, these crystals are collected by locals at 2500-3000m elevation, near the remote mountain village of Piedra Parada. Includes specimen label and acrylic display stand, specimen is temporarily mounted with mineral tack.
