Double terminated crystals are delicately perched on matrix, encrusted with quartz druzy. Veracruz is a world renowned locality for Amethyst, these crystals are collected by locals at 2500-3000m elevation, near the remote mountain village of Piedra Parada. Includes specimen label and acrylic display stand, specimen is temporarily mounted with mineral tack.
