Also known as a Quartz flower, the crystal "petals" grow in fanned out habit from stalactites. This Quartz specimen is a rare find, if you enjoy Quartz specimens with unusual growth habits, this is one to add to your collection. It's an old classic piece from the Iraí, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. This locality is famous for its clear Quartz and Amethyst flowers and they've become difficult to get, as less of these specimens are found these days.
