Etched Beryl var. Aquamarine from Minas Gerais, Brazil. This gorgeous natural etched Aquamarine floater crystal is a pastel aquamarine-blue with icy clear-aqua It's a very textural piece, with bright gemmy luster and unique form. It features a well-dissolved crystalline structure, with intricate etched details that occurred during the natural dissolution process. The crystal is complete, with 360 degrees of stunning icy etched surfaces. This Aquamarine could be displayed horizontally or propped up vertically on another style of display, it looks incredible from every angle. Excellent condition, with no noticeable nicks.
This piece is a rare find from an old collection, originally purchased in the 1990s. It was rediscovered when a storage unit containing display cases and a few dusty old mineral flats was purchased from a mineral dealer in Tucson, Arizona. One of the mineral flats was etched Beryl and we were able to purchase the flat. Most of the pieces are Aquamarine, with a few Heliodor, this was the biggest etched Aquamarine crystals in the flat.
