Etched Aquamarine, Minas Gerais, Brazil, 60g

Etched Aquamarine floater crystal with pristine glacier aqua-blue color, gemmy clarity and glassy luster, complete with 360 degrees of stunning icy textural surfaces, etched by nature. The etching occurs by a dissolution process, when fluids in the environment, consistently make contact on the surface of the crystal. This specimen has a naturally formed holes, caused by dissolution. It's one of the best etched Aquamarine crystals we've seen, in excellent condition, no noticeable nicks. This piece is a rare find from an old collection, originally purchased in the 1990s.
