Collection: Trinitite

Own a piece of history! Trinitite is a rare historic green glass formed by the fusing of sand during the world's first atomic bomb explosion test, named Trinity. Most pieces of Trinitite were collected in the late 1940s and early 1950s. In 1952, collecting Trinitite was officially banned, the United States Atomic Commission bulldozed and buried the crater. Collecting Trinitite remains strictly prohibited to this day.

*To our wonderful Trinitite collectors, we have new Trinitite specimens coming to the website this week. As of Sunday, August 17th, 2025, we are in the process of photographing an old collection of Trinitite.
