Veracruz Amethyst cluster from Piedra Parada, Veracruz, Mexico. This unique Veracruz Amethyst specimen has sparkling clear pale lavender crystals with glassy luster. The crystals are delicately perched on matrix, with an unusual feature, a natural hole that goes completely through a petrified wood matrix. Veracruz is a world renowned locality for Amethyst, these crystals are collected by locals at 2500-3000m elevation, near the remote mountain village of Piedra Parada.
