Miniature Amethyst crystal scepter, double terminated, this piece has exceptional etching on its surface, flawless condition with glassy luster, gemmy clarity and delicate soft lavender Amethyst color-zoning. Collected at Scepter Hill in the 90s.

This Arizona Amethyst locality is known for unique formations and glassy lustrous miniatures, including scepters, enhydros, double-terminated, etched or skeletal features at the termination. Scepter Hill was a well-known area for field collectors in the 1990s, today these high quality Scepter Hill crystals are a rare find. We recently acquired an old collection of these miniature Amethyst crystals from a long-time field collector in Green Valley, AZ.
