Sugar Danburite cluster, gorgeous gemmy colorless chisel-top Danburite crystals, encrusted with calcite and almost completely "sugar-coated" with sparkling quartz crystals. The colors on this piece vary from snow white to pale peachy-blush and maroon. Mina La Aurora (the Aurora mine) in Charcas, Mexico is a world class Danburite locality. Danburite mineral specimens, especially clusters from this locality are a rare find nowadays, since the was mine closed. This small cabinet piece is from my personal collection.
